11:00 am Kinder Kids registration opens In-Person
Kinder Kids focuses on literacy skills, such as phonemic awareness and rhyming. We also will focus on large and small motor skills and self help skills. We also sing, play, color, and have lots of fun. As a former first grade teacher, I am so excited about teaching this class.
This class is designed for ages 4-5. It is a 45 minute class. In this class, we ask parents to stay outside the classroom. This helps students prepare to be without their parents in kindergarten. I will have an assistant teacher with me. We will be doing this class in the downstairs children's program room. We ask parents to stay in the downstairs portion of the library in case their child needs them for any reason. You won’t need to bring anything to class, just your smiling faces.
This 12 week course runs September 2-November 18, and we ask that parents commit to sending their children for the full semester. Registration is required. This registration page is for the 11:00 am class.
Learn more about this class in our YouTube video. Note: This was filmed for the Fall 2023 classes, so dates/times have changed.
